When he saw them he ran from the entrance of the tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.<br>18:3 He said, \u201cMy lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by and leave your servant. <br>18:4 Let a little water be brought so that you may all wash your feet and rest under the tree. <br>18:5 And let me get a bit of food so that you may refresh yourselves since you have passed by your servant\u2019s home. After that you may be on your way.\u201d \u201cAll right,\u201d they replied, \u201cyou may do as you say.\u201d<br>-<br>Genesis 32:26-30 (NET)<br>32:26 Then the man said, \u201cLet me go, for the dawn is breaking.\u201d \u201cI will not let you go,\u201d Jacob replied, \u201cunless you bless me.\u201d <br>32:27 The man asked him, \u201cWhat is your name?\u201d He answered, \u201cJacob.\u201d <br>32:28 \u201cNo longer will your name be Jacob,\u201d the man told him, \u201cbut Israel, because you have fought with God and with men and have prevailed.\u201d<br>32:29 Then Jacob asked, \u201cPlease tell me your name.\u201d \u201cWhy do you ask my name?\u201d the man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there. <br>32:30 So Jacob named the place Peniel, explaining, \u201cCertainly I have seen God face to face and have survived.\u201d<br>-<br>Exodus 3:4-6 (NET)<br>3:4 When the Lord saw that he had turned aside to look, God called to him from within the bush and said, \u201cMoses, Moses!\u201d And Moses said, \u201cHere I am.\u201d <br>3:5 God said, \u201cDo not approach any closer! Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.\u201d <br>3:6 He added, \u201cI am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.\u201d Then Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.<br>-<br>Joshua 5:13-15 (NET)<br>Israel Conquers Jericho<br>5:13 When Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him holding a drawn sword. Joshua approached him and asked him, \u201cAre you on our side or allied with our enemies?\u201d <br>5:14 He answered, \u201cTruly I am the commander of the Lord\u2019s army.
